Filquip is proud to present the newest product to its concrete consolidation range of vibration equipment, the VHA High Frequency Compressed Air Driven Concrete Poker.

Fresh concrete does not compact and release air bubbles trapped within the mix without vibration. Filquip supplies a range of Compressed Air Driven Concrete Pokers also known as Needles to overcome the poor fluidity and internal friction within the fresh concrete to release the air bubbles and compact the concrete mix.

The VHA Series of high frequency pneumatic concrete pokers operate on compressed air at 6bar to provide a high working efficiency under safe conditions.

Pharmaceutical Pneumatic Conveying

Air-Tec Systems the Filquip partner for Dense Phase Conveying Technology Dense Phase Conveying for Pharmaceuticalhave a proven record in delivering extremely high quality pharmaceutical pneumatic conveying systems. Air-Tec has just delivered a batch of fully mirror finish electropolished 316 Stainless Steel Dense Phase Vessels to ACS Dobfar in Italy.

System 1 is to convey the pharmaceutical antibiotic products from a sealed hand break station to the batch reactor.
System 2 is to convey the pharmaceutical products from a sealed hand break station to the product grinder.
These Dense Phase Conveying Systems transfer the products with inert nitrogen in a closed loop process with a flow rate of 0.2 TPH over a distance of 15m.

Our pharmaceutical pneumatic conveying systems comply with GMP (good manufacturing practices) standards for the conveying of excipients and pharmaceutical powders in complete safety. The parts that come into contact with the products are made of polished stainless steel; furthermore, cleaning cycles of both the pipes and the conveyor vessel are possible.
The whole system is completely closed in order to ensure a high level of hygiene.

Materials are conveyed at a low speed in order to keep finished products and mixtures in perfect condition. The use of a minimal amount of compressed air ensures considerable cost savings.

Mobile Dense Phase Conveying Skid

Filquip has developed a mobile dense phase conveying skid solution for  pneumatic conveying of cement, silica fume, salt and other building material plant additives. The mobile skid contains all of the equipment required for conveying the products, all that is required is a compressed air connection by Nitto hose and 240V power.

The mobile dense phase conveying skid can fill Silos, Hoppers and Bins up to 30m tall at rates up to 1T/hour.

Filquip has worked with the Coffee Roasting industry to develop a Mobile Coffee Bean Vacuum Conveyor with a wand piece to allow staff to suck the green beans from the bags and lift them up into their roasting equipment.

The FVC mobile coffee bean vacuum conveyor can lift almost any powder or granule product from bags or containers using the vacuum wand and lift it up into equipment such as roasters and mixers.

Many processes involve staff lifting heavy bags or drums of powder or granules into equipment.  This exposes them to physical injury through incorrect lifting techniques or just lifting things that are too heavy.  One of the easiest ways to mitigate this risk is to use vacuum conveying to lift the powder or granules up into the equipment.

Suction Feeders

Filquip is a supplier of the SF series of Vacuum Suction Feeders which are also known as Ring-Jets, Air amplifiers, Line Vacs or Air Venturis. The Filquip SF Suction Feeders do no require any electricity and operate on compressed air alone. The specially designed internal high speed jets create a venturi motive air stream creating the suction for conveying the product.

  • Available in a range of sizes from 19mm bore to 51mm bore with throughputs up to 3.2m3/hr.
  • Used to pump liquids, granules or powders.
  • Manufactured from high grade aluminum alloy with Stainless Steel versions available.
  • Small footprint size. Convenient for transport and single person operation.
  • Simple installation, the only requirement is to connect compressed airline into the push-in connection socket on the feeder body.

Wand Vacuum Conveyor System – FVC

Filquip has developed a Wand Vacuum Conveyor System to vacuum transfer powders and granules from Bags and Trays up into a Discharge hopper to fill into processes as required.

The FVC wand vacuum conveyor can lift almost any powder or granule product from bags, trays or containers and conveys it up into its hopper head unit. The system then discharges the product from the head hopper into any process as required by the customer.

Mobile Pneumatic Product Conveying Systems

Filquip has recently delivered a set of Mobile Pneumatic Product Conveying Systems to customers for the unloading of bulk bags and shipping containers.

The unit consists of a bulk bag unloader which is removable allowing the connection of a shipping container unloader spout mounted onto a structurally certified mobile skid with forklift lifting points. The packaged skid has a 30kW Positive Pressure Blower with Acoustic enclosure that provides the moving air through the stainless steel piping to convey the product from the hopper and rotary valve to a camlock connection point for transfer into the site silo or hopper.

Includes integrated local control panel with VSD and dial for adjusting the conveying throughput.
